Investment incentives are administered by each region’s respective investment promotion agency, or the Chinese National Ministry of Commerce. Investment promotion agencies are government or non-profit organizations that work to encourage investment in their areas. Typically at no cost, they provide basic information about their region and an overview of investment incentives and preferential policies. For more information about incentives, please visit the desired region’s Manufacturing Guide and click on investment incentives.
Important Note: Many incentives must be repaid at the provincial and/or city level in the event that the company leaves the region. National incentives are not typically subject to these restrictions.
