Liaoning Employee Wage & Labor Cost Information

The average wage of a direct employee in Liaoning in early 2011 was an estimated RMB 2,559 per month. In 2008, the average wage of Liaoning employees was approximately RMB 1,633 per month, which proved to be a 56 percent difference.  For the first half of 2011, Liaoning’s minimum wage was RMB 650 to RMB 900 per month for full time employees, but local trade unions strongly recommend higher amounts.  These minimums can be expected to raise as legislation has urged policy makers and provinces to increase the wages in order to combat unusually high inflation as well as to raise the standard of living.  Calculating the exact cost of a direct employee on an hourly basis involves a complex formula composed of a daily base salary, employee benefits, and taxation.
