Tianjin Logistics Information

Tianjin has a highly developed logistics infrastructure. It serves as the main port city for Xi’an and Beijing, as well as the provinces of Hebei, Shanxi and Sha’anxi. Tianjin’s port is the  largest man-made port in the world. In 2008, it processed more than 350 million tonness of cargo. Tianjin has a highly developed system of expressways and highways that link it to other regional cities and neighboring provinces. In addition, Tianjin is connected by rail to most major Chinese cities and has opened a high-speed rail link with Beijing, giving passengers access to the nation’s capital in less than 30 minutes. Tianjin operates the Tianjin Binhai Airport, the largest air cargo transportation center in northern China, which offers direct flights to both Chinese cities and Asian international destinations.
