Tianjin is a diversified economic hub in northern China. Tianjin’s leading industries (mobile phone, aerospace, alternative energy, and automotive production) all support its sizable shipping and logistics industry. Tianjin, which means “a port for the emperor” in Chinese, is also the fourth largest port in mainland China.
