Binhai New Area Logistics Information

The Binhai New Area covers the entire coastline of Tianjin Municipality.  Its several specific logistics areas, including the Airport Logistics Processing Zone, Free Trade Logistics Zone, and Seaport Logistics Zone, offer tax subsidies on certain imports and exports. Goods from Binhai New Area are usually shipped from the Port of Tianjin. In 2008 the Port of Tianjin processed 350 million tonnes of cargo, serving as a crucial shipping channel access point for inland countries such as Kazakhstan and Mongolia.  Binhai is also situated at the end of an expressway that runs between Beijing, Tianjin, and the port of Tangu, making transportation throughout the region fast and efficient. The Binhai Airport has an active air cargo facility that offers scheduled air cargo service to many regional and international destinations.  Airbus even has operations for the manufacturing of their A320 series out of Binhai and eventually through the Binhai airport.
