Henan Employee Wage & Labor Cost Information

The average wage of a direct employee in Henan province for early 2011 was approximately RMB 3,150 per month; which is twice as much as it was in 2009 (RMB 1,590 per month). Henan’s minimum wage in 2009 was RMB 480 per month for full time workers and RMB 5 to RMB 7 per hour for part time workers. In 2010, it increased 31.4 percent to RMB 700 per month for full time workers. Calculating the exact cost of a direct employee on an hourly basis involves a complex formula composed of a daily base salary, employee benefits, and taxation.
