Jiangsu Real Estate Information

Average rental prices for industrial manufacturing and warehouse facilities in Jiangsu vary.  In the first half of 2011, they typically averaged around 11.5 RMB per square meter, per month. Average rental prices in the northern half of Jiangsu tend to be lower due to its uneven development and less advanced infrastructure. Utility costs for industrial purposes have been on a rise due to power shortages across the nation in early 2011. Manufacturing facilities throughout the past five years have been growing so quickly that China’s infrastructure has struggled to provide the necessary resources to keep up. In some cases, China has cut back hours so that electricity needs and water supply may be equally met. As China has struggled to meet electricity needs throughout the nation, the cost of electricity, from 2010 to 2011, increased by RMB 0.012 per kilowatt hour ($0.004 per kwh).  Utility costs for industrial purposes also vary throughout the province. Water costs range from RMB 1.5 to RMB 2.55 per cubic meter, and electricity costs range from RMB 0.50 to RMB 0.60 per kilowatt-hour.
